By Deb John had tucked his sword in his belt and went on at stroll on a crowded street. “KLONK.” Well now, just what could that most unusual noise be? No doubt it was coming from that manhole cover. Stamp, stamp, stamp! John’s foot came down on the Ace Dragon LTD cover, checking to see if anyone was there. Yep, someone or something was in there because it asked, “Who is it.” John, of course, but he wanted to know what the LTD stood for. Of course everyone knows that it means “limited,” but that someone or something told him anyway. “It means,” the voice told John, “I can’t do everything. I can only do some things.” Just what kind of things could that someone or something do?Naturally that someone or something couldn’t do everything, but it could “make fire come out of [its] nose and mouth.” Just how cool could that be! It would be even cooler to go flying with that critter, who just happened to be none other than a dragon! His name was, of course, Ace Dragon Ltd. Before Ace would even consider taking John flying, they would have to fight. Over a decrepit old fence they climbed ... well, Ace went through the side ... and into a lot filled with junk. John snagged the lid of a garbage can, whipped out his sword and was ready to fight. “Best out of three?” Ace exclaimed. No problem for John and they prepared for battle.They fought all around the lot going this way and that, that way and this. John held up his shield and sword while Ace snorted out a cloud of smoke. Watch out for that tail! John dropped his gear when he tripped over Ace’s tail and almost, just almost, lost that fight, but soon recovered and won the match. Yes! Ace’s eyes widened and even more smoke came out of his nose. The second fight was on and they fought all around the lot going this way and that, that way and this. The junk was flying and the battle was hot, hot, hot! It was going to be a close one, but could John win that two out of three and go flying with Ace Dragon Ltd?This was a fun, imaginary tale of John and Ace Dragon Ltd that young children will love. The tale is certainly lively as John battles Ace so he can go flying. Everyone loves a good dragon tale and Russell Hoban, author of the classic tale Bedtime for Frances, comes through magnificently. The artwork does capture the imagination and in parts has panels similar to that of a graphic novel. The tale can be read by the emergent or independent reader with some assistance with words such as “petrol.” Better yet, this would make a great tale for circle or story time in a classroom or library setting. This is reprint that most certainly deserves a new audience.

And for their first meeting? A rendezvous at the Dragonham East station of the Underground. The dragon wore Wellingtons. John had a sword. And so it began.Totally eccentric and very pleasant!

By Toni Humphrey Minecraft - Diary Of A Friendly Minecraft Creeper: Hobby Hunting is one of the best unofficial Minecraft books you will ever read! This book has immediately caught my attention in my search for the best and simplest Minecraft book for my kids. This is an elaborate and easy to read book on the game Minecraft. It delves into the diary of a Friendly Creeper and his adventures, which my youngest kid loves right from the start. This is really a great purchase.

This is a fictional story in a form of a diary, set in a Minecraft universe. It isn't perfect, but it's a good, fun read and it makes a good use of Minecraft setting through characters and illustrations. It is short so if your kids reads it or you read it to them you can do it in one sitting. Take a look at it if you or your kids have any interest in Minecraft, I think they'll love it.

He smiled instantly when I showed him this book and even had me read it to him for his bedtime story. The unique plot was the main reason why my son loved this book. From the Author Diane Quintana and I have worked in a booth called Get Organized! at the Decatur Book Festival along with author, Judith Kolberg, for over 5 years. The Decatur Book Festival is huge! For two days we meet the crowds and promote our books and services. It was in 2014 that Judith challenged Diane and me to write a children's organizing book. Many families come to the book festival and she wanted to have a book to offer the parents for the children. Never one to say no to a challenge, Diane and I started right away. We came up with the basic idea from our experience with our own children, our experiences as teachers, and organizational classes we have taken. As former educators we wanted to have a repeating phrase in our book to encourage children to engage in the book by reciting that phrase every time it comes up in the story. Our phrase is: What do I do when my mother asks me to pick up my __.From there we just created the messiest room we could think of without making it a too complicated story. Writing the text was easy and fun for us. We basically took the same organizing principles we had in both our former books and incorporated them into this book.We love working together and really had a good time collaborating on this project.

From the Back Cover This book was written for parents and children to share. The authors took some basic organizational strategies:

Break projects down into small manageable steps
Sort like with like
Cull collections
Assign a place or a home for belongings
Reward for jobs completed

The authors then applied these strategies to the common task of picking up a room.People are often overwhelmed when given what to them sees like a large project. The first step is to break the project down into small manageable steps.Study the illustrations. Notice that Suzie did not do a perfect job. You will see that there are some doll clothes not perfectly put away and that the bookcase is a bit untidy. Still, Suzie did a great job for her age and her efforts are accepted and praised.We encourage parents to accept the organizing job done by their child so as not to minimize the child's efforts.There is also a reward for completing the task. As professional organizers, the authors encourage their clients to reward themselves when a project is complete. Rewarding Suzieshows appreciation for her effort.

About the Author Diane N. Quintana is a Certified Professional Organizer through NAPO, and a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization through the ICD. She is also a presenter and the author of Flying Solo: A Guide to Organizing Your Home When You Leave Your Parents' Nest and Now What? A Simple Organizing Guide.Diane is a former elementary school teacher. She is the owner of DNQ Solutions, LLC, a professional organizing company in metro-Atlanta that works with both residential and small business clients. Jonda S. Beattie is a professional organizer, presenter and the author of From Vision to Victory: A Workbook For Finding a Simple Path to an Organized Home. She is also a former elementary special education teacher and a former Lead Teacher of Special Education with a Master's Degree in Special Education. The 6-year-old really liked it, but it was the 2-year-old that insists it be read to him every day! The mom loved it herself and said she learned from it (which is something I was hoping for :-) ). I'm now planning to stock this to be part of my thank you gift for kids with young families.

Perfectly written and illustrated it captures the real struggles that a young child has when told to "clean her room". What to do? How to start? Where does everything go?" The writers hit on these subjects beautifully. And what is truly wonderful is that they don't make suzie perfect. She is messy, doesn't always do it "right" or at all, and likes to do it her way. We can all relate!

Ayala is trully a proffesional coach.I have a 7 years old kid, who has some difficulties with multiplication table and tends to give up, when he doesn't succeed in homework.I've read and translated him this book and from now on I'll remind him "Kate" every time he wan't to quit... At the end she learned how to fly, so can you... Never give up!

By Osnat It's a wonderful book!!As a mother of three I find it to address the most common issue while raising children.To be able to give them the security of success especially when it needs work and patience.I'll be kipping the book close by for I can predict many reading occasions to my children.

As all the books of Ayala this book is funny cleaver and full with humor and shows how she knows to get to the children and their parents. I like the wonderful illustration and color and I enjoyed to read it very much. I recommend it with all my heart.
