About the Author Brian Gryn was inspired by his nieces and nephews to write The Magic Zoo. It is never too early to learn simple life lessons like having a positive mental attitude. His goal is to spread this and many other lessons to kids in a fun way that will help inspire them to live a happy, healthy life. Brian went to Glenbrook South H.S. in Glenview, Illinois. Brian spent two years at Butler University in Indianapolis before graduating from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Brian spent four years in commercial lending before becoming a personal trainer / health coach / obsessed golfer and internet entrepreneur. Brian has two older sisters, two nieces, three nephews, and two loving parents. He currently lives in Chicago, Illinois.

My kids all enjoyed it, especially my 7 year old daughter. They liked that the characters in the book were based on real kids (the characters are modeled after the author's nieces and nephews), which made the story more relatable.

My four year old loves following the kids through the zoo and meeting all the animals. As parents, we love reading the valuable lessons that are presented throughout the book. The illustrations are great - very colorful and very detailed - which makes the book even more engaging. A great read for all kids!

By Felicia Sale "I really like this book!", "I also love the pictures!" is how my K daughter responded after I read the book to her. She also enjoyed how it gives you so many life lessons. My sons 2nd grade teacher had him read the book to the entire class yesterday. Afterwards the teacher had each student write the author a mini review letter of the book. I hope he writes them back. Definitely a fun read with many life lessons within the book.
