This is a book of geography questions and answers. There are 31 chapters in the book organized into seven sections (USA, World, Bodies of Water, Cultural Geography, Economic Geography, Arrange and Decipher, and Other Topics). Each chapter focuses on a different topic. Within each chapter, questions get progressively more challenging. While the first few questions in each chapter are comparable to school-level competition questions, the last couple of questions in each chapter could stump even national champion geographers. Unlike other books, this book arranges the questions and answers into two different columns. This way the reader can easily cover the answers with a bookmark or hand while going over questions. The structure and format of questions in this book are modeled upon the questions used by the National Geographic Society for the National Geography Bee. About the Author Sumhith Aradhyula is a senior at Catalina Foothills High School, Tucson, AZ. He is an avid geographer and started his high school’s geography club. He has excelled in numerous geography contests and was the iGeo Geo-Challenge Arizona State Varsity Champion (2014) and Junior Varsity Champion (2013). He is a National AP Scholar and a National Merit Semifinalist.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great book for Geography Bee By Pradeep Thallapalle I highly recommend this book for all the students preparing for Geography Bee. The chapters are structured in multiple choice enabling the kids to explore and learn at the same time. I commend the author -Sumhith for his extensive research and making it comprehensive for all ages. I am amaze to know Sumhith is still in high school. I wish him the very best and hope to see more books from him.

Fun book for family travel By Rob Rachowiecki From capitals, to continents, to culture, this book comprehensively covers all aspects of Geo Bee competitions, and is an essential part of any young Geo Bee competitor's library. It's also a fun book to bring with you on a family trip - those long drives and interminable airport layovers can be eased by quizzing yourselves about the destination. As an inveterate traveler, I found myself hooked - how many questions could I get right?

By HMSS This is an excellent book with a unique format that makes studying geography both fun and enlightening.The level of questions are a nice mix to both build confidence in and challenge the reader.The format is set up so the reader can test themselves by reading the question while covering the answer which is listed in a column. This unique approach is brilliant because it is easy to quiz yourself.This book is a must have for anyone interested in geography or those wanting to learn about the world they live in.
