His flock's adventure down the sea as the Farmer brings them to a major sheep contest. While near the competition set stands a gorgeous beach with attractions, fast food and miles of sands and water to enjoy. Things that tempt the sheep to evade Bitzer and the Farmer, except Shaun who realizes a more dangerous threat. The Ehearder. A mobile phone application that motivates him to find his mates quick before their lives become unpleasant under such a horrible device. An afternoon of laughs, the chance to see Shaun's universe expand like the movie did with the seaside, and for the farm to impress those they meet. A book I really loved as we dive through the point of views of the different sheep like Hazel, Nuts, Shelly, Timmy and his mum. All of them expressing different interests at the sea. Various misadventures that make us laugh as some of them are very very actual with our lives. In its style, the prose is very simple. Easy-to-read and understand vocabulary, and a clever mix of comic book art and illustrations the artist Andy Janes does for Martin Howard's narration. Both working under the supervision and support of Aardman animations as this story is a wonderful chance to see Aardman's storytelling expand. Though I still think it would be even better to have a comic book evrsion of Shaun the Sheep as it would expand the chances for Shaun to reach a misual medium very appropriate for this expressive story. And at the end of the book, another drawing activity: How to draw Timmy. With clear instructions on how to draw him, And at last, tips on how to juggle as this activity is linked to an important location in the book. One where Shaun and his flock do more than an appearance.
